Forever Home: August 15

Titan is a grey and white husky mix who is approximately two years old. Titan's previous owner said he does well with other dogs and he has played nicely with other dogs at the shelter. He likes to play fetch, or rather, keep-away! He would love a home that would give him lots of exercise! Titan is available for adoption through Animal Allies Humane Society.

Cow-Spideris a 9 month old Domestic short hair. He is a super sweet cat who just loves to lounge around with his people. He is a social cat who likes all people, other cats, and dogs as well. Cow-Spider would be a great addition to any family. Cow-Spider is available for adoption through Scooby's Animal Mission.

Blinky is a black Domestic Short Hair who is approximately 5 years old. Blinky was picked up by a good Samaritan when he was found with a pretty extensive injury to his eye. He is all fixed up now and is looking for his new loving home! Blinky has an unshakable spirit and has not let his disability affect his love for people. He is the happiest one eyed cat you'll ever meet and just wants all of your attention! Blinky is available for adoption through Animal Allies Humane Society.

Romeo is a 1 year old Pitbull. He is a big strong sweet boy -  90 lbs of love and kisses. Romeo is crate trained and house trained if kept on a schedule. He knows sit and lay-down. Romeo will also take treat gently if told to do so. He should go to a family where there are no small animals and while he prefers to be the only dog in the home, Romeo loves people and loves to be outside. Romeo is available for adoption through Scooby's Animal Mission.

Lisa Johnson started her broadcast career anchoring the television news at her high school and spinning country music at KWWK/KOLM Radio in Rochester, Minnesota. She was a reporter and news anchor at KTHI in Fargo, ND (not to mention the host of a children's program called "Lisa's Lane") and a radio reporter and anchor in Moorhead, Bismarck, Wahpeton and Fergus Falls.Since 1991, she has hosted Northland Morning on KUMD. One of the best parts of her job includes "paying it forward" by mentoring upcoming journalists and broadcasters on the student news team that helps produce Northland Morning. She also loves introducing the different people she meets in her job to one another, helping to forge new "community connections" and partnerships.Lisa has amassed a book collection weighing over two tons, and she enjoys reading, photography, volunteering with Animal Allies Humane Society and fantasizing about farmland. She goes to bed at 8pm, long before her daughter, two cats, or three dogs.
