Forever Home Pets

Bernie

Bernie is a white and grey American Staffordshire Terrier who is 2 years old. He came to us from a previous home and is now looking for his new loving home! Bernie is the best example of an over-sized lap dog! He loves nothing more than curling up on your lap, snuggling next to you on the couch, or burrowing under the blankets on your bed at night. When he’s not cuddling, he loves playing with rope toys and chewing on bones. This fun loving guy is ready to be your new best friend!

Winston

Winston is an orange tabby and white long haired cat who is four years old. He came to us from a previous home and is now looking for his new loving home! Winston is a people oriented cat; he will snuggle up around your neck, nestle into your lap, or just follow you around the house. His favorite toys are ones that he can chase, too.

Onyx

Onyx is a grey short haired cat who is three years old. He came to us from a previous home and is now looking for his new loving home! Onyx is a shy kitty who likes to curl up in cozy cat caves. Once he has time to adjust to new spaces, you're sure to have your new best friend!

Thunder

Thunder is a fawn and white American Shelter Dog who is 7 years old. He came to us from a previous home and is now looking for his new loving home! Thunder can be a little shy when it comes to meeting new people, but once he warms up you'll quickly see his loving personality. This big guy enjoys snuggling on his person's lap, playing fetch, and going for walks. Thunder also knows the commands for sit, shake, lay down, and roll over. Thunder is looking for a home with no other dogs so he can hog all your attention!

All pets are available to visit at Animal Allies Humane Society.

Lisa Johnson started her broadcast career anchoring the television news at her high school and spinning country music at KWWK/KOLM Radio in Rochester, Minnesota. She was a reporter and news anchor at KTHI in Fargo, ND (not to mention the host of a children's program called "Lisa's Lane") and a radio reporter and anchor in Moorhead, Bismarck, Wahpeton and Fergus Falls.Since 1991, she has hosted Northland Morning on KUMD. One of the best parts of her job includes "paying it forward" by mentoring upcoming journalists and broadcasters on the student news team that helps produce Northland Morning. She also loves introducing the different people she meets in her job to one another, helping to forge new "community connections" and partnerships.Lisa has amassed a book collection weighing over two tons, and she enjoys reading, photography, volunteering with Animal Allies Humane Society and fantasizing about farmland. She goes to bed at 8pm, long before her daughter, two cats, or three dogs.
