Today we share the sad news that John Bushey, host of the KUMD radio program Highway 61 Revisited, has passed away. This is a great loss to the community, the KUMD family and John's family and fans. We are so thankful for the 26 years John Bushey volunteered his expertise and passion for the music and life story of Bob Dylan through stories, guests and a deep library of recordings.
John created new programs up until last week here at KUMD, producing his one-hour weekly show in the John Bushey, Highway 61 Revisited Studio, dedicated in his name last year. Condolences to John Bushey's family and friends.
We will miss you John.
