Fredick is a black Miniature Pinscher mix who is 6 and a half years old. He came to us as a stray from Duluth and is now looking for his new loving home! Fredick is a curious little guy who is constantly on the go. He loves to explore and check out his surroundings while occasionally stopping for a head rub or ear scratch.

Frosted Flake is a short-haired white cat who is 4 years old. He came to us as a stray from Duluth and is now looking for his new loving home! Frosted Flake is just an easy-going, happy-go-lucky guy. The moment a hand comes near to pet him, however, he turns into a motor-like purring machine! He loves attention and is perfectly happy nestled in your arms, kneading on your shoulder. If you're looking for someone to cuddle and hang out by your side, Frosted Flake is the cat for you.

Rio is a dilute torbie domestic longhair who is 5 years old. She came to us from a previous home and is now looking for her new loving home! Rio is beautiful girl with a long, luxurious coat. She can be a little shy around new people at first, but will gladly accept soft, gentle pets until she warms up to you a little more.

Lisa Johnson started her broadcast career anchoring the television news at her high school and spinning country music at KWWK/KOLM Radio in Rochester, Minnesota. She was a reporter and news anchor at KTHI in Fargo, ND (not to mention the host of a children's program called "Lisa's Lane") and a radio reporter and anchor in Moorhead, Bismarck, Wahpeton and Fergus Falls.Since 1991, she has hosted Northland Morning on KUMD. One of the best parts of her job includes "paying it forward" by mentoring upcoming journalists and broadcasters on the student news team that helps produce Northland Morning. She also loves introducing the different people she meets in her job to one another, helping to forge new "community connections" and partnerships.Lisa has amassed a book collection weighing over two tons, and she enjoys reading, photography, volunteering with Animal Allies Humane Society and fantasizing about farmland. She goes to bed at 8pm, long before her daughter, two cats, or three dogs.
