Twister | Contented Critters
Meet Twister. He is a male Yellow Lab that was given up by his owners. He is a happy, happy dog, however he is also a very overweight dog. Twister has been put on a diet and exercise program and is shaping up nicely. He really is a fun dog.

Aven | Animal Allies
Aven is a calico domestic short hair who is 5 years old. She came to us from a previous home and is now looking for her new loving home! Aven is a shy girl who loves to climb up high and see the world. She's a little shy, but once she warms up to you she'll snuggle right up and will gladly give you a few love bites in return!

Shere Khan | Animal Allies
Shere Khan is a tortoiseshell domestic short hair who is 10 years old. She came to us from a previous home and is now looking for her new loving home! She can be a little shy at first, so she is looking for a calm and quiet home where she can relax. She is happiest when she is with her best friend Kaa, so they must go home together!

Kaa? | Animal Allies
Kaa is a white and tabby domestic short hair who is 10 years old. She came to us from a previous home and is now looking for her new loving home! Kaa is a friendly girl who takes a little time to get used to new people. Lisa Johnson started her broadcast career anchoring the television news at her high school and spinning country music at KWWK/KOLM Radio in Rochester, Minnesota. She was a reporter and news anchor at KTHI in Fargo, ND (not to mention the host of a children's program called "Lisa's Lane") and a radio reporter and anchor in Moorhead, Bismarck, Wahpeton and Fergus Falls.Since 1991, she has hosted Northland Morning on KUMD. One of the best parts of her job includes "paying it forward" by mentoring upcoming journalists and broadcasters on the student news team that helps produce Northland Morning. She also loves introducing the different people she meets in her job to one another, helping to forge new "community connections" and partnerships.Lisa has amassed a book collection weighing over two tons, and she enjoys reading, photography, volunteering with Animal Allies Humane Society and fantasizing about farmland. She goes to bed at 8pm, long before her daughter, two cats, or three dogs.
