LeonoreBaeumler of Duluth has worked as a social worker in Duluth with both juveniles the elderly. She is the namesake of UMD'sBaeumler Kaplan Holocaust Commemoration Committee, honoring of the lives and legacies of Mortrud Kaplan and her late husband Walter Baeumler. Leonore has lived a life of service improving the quality of life of the people around her for that we honor her this month.

Former Program Director, Maija Jenson teaches journalism in the Department of Communication at UMD and was a part of KUMD 2008-2019. She hosted a weekly arts program "Radio Gallery." She shares a lifetime of public radio listening, degrees in journalism and art and 20 years of public radio experience with KFAI, WHA, WSUM and KUMD.
