Now 51 hours into the marathon, Ryan Redington has arrived at the Finland checkpoint. At nearly the same minute, the next closest competitor, Denis Tremblay, was just leaving Sawbill for Finland.
That's an impressive gap, but he still has 7.5 hours of required rest to make up and that puts many teams still in consideration.
BUT NOW, the snow is starting to fall. With Redington and his team resting at Finland after a 10.0 mph pace, will the remaining teams en route be slowed down by the snow to the point that Redington is uncatchable?
