For over two decades, Maryland-born musician George Ellsworth has been a staple of the Northern Minnesota music scene wearing many hats and spreading his experiences and influences far and wide. As an in-demand bassist and keyboardist he’s performed and recorded with a myriad of beloved Twin Ports acts, from James And Younger to The Brushstrokes to Todd Eckart to Snöbarn to Woodblind. As a songwriter and composer he’s contributed songs and scores to two independent films and works for local theater. He revels in finding the common and complementary elements of disparate genres and musical disciplines and building something unique and interesting from what lies at the meeting point.

“Misisipi” Mike Wolf is a traditional folk and country singer/songwriter who performs both solo and in enough bands to fill a summer music festival lineup. He writes songs with the same heart and humor as greats like John Prine, Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson. Wolf recently won first place in the Duluth Dylan Fest songwriters contest and holds down weekly residencies throughout the Twin Ports, most recently at the Cedar Lounge. His local band projects include Boxcar, Neatneatneat, Actual Wolf, Crooked Mile and Eldri Snow’s Wintry Mix.

DIRT MAGNET is a lo-fi punk two piece out of Duluth, MN with Shanna Willie on drums and vocals and Clancy Ward on bass and vocals. Forming a sound that has its roots in rock and roll’s simplicity and on a mission to build community and promote inclusivity while having fun. Their songs ebb and flow between quiet and loud with lyrics that point to living in a world where we all need to help each other do better. Their new self titled release is out now on bandcamp and cassette. Crimson Soul and Slape open the show. It's going to get grungy!

Brothers Burn Mountain | 6pm Doors | Saturday | June 21st | Get your tickets!
Soulful, energetic, eclectic duo of real-life brothers, Ryan and Jesse Dermody. They've been playing music together everyday as a duo for more than 16 years. Though difficult to try and put their sound into words, some have called it avant-garde blues rock, though basically it is really just good-ol' rock n' roll with a very personal and strange twist of bluesy tastes.
