Wouldn't it be great to learn how to identify these things AND help researchers world wide? Have you tried using the iNaturalist app!?

Join your Duluth iNaturalist Ambassadors for a workshop and hike introducing the iNaturalist platform and app. We will help you to make your first observations or help you to improve the photos you are already uploading to the app.

Friday night 6-7:30pm We will help you make your first high quality observations and give you pointers about narrowing your identifications. We'll also go outside along the roadside or trails to practice taking research grade pictures on your phone. Please download the iNaturlist app onto your phone before you arrive.

Saturday afternoon 1-2:30pm Hike with an iNaturalist Ambassador and enjoy the fall colors while identifying new species.
Hike leaders will break into focus groups so you can pick what interests you most: Plants, Birds, Fungi, Trees.
