Marriage proposals can be simple and private, they can be lavish and public... and sometimes they happen at Homegrown.

For Andy Welch and Karen Sheldon, their love story became a highlight of the Homegrown Music Festival 2025 when a performance by Stardust Collective at the West Theatre evolved into an expression of love and a moment to remember for the couple, and for all who were in attendance.

Now, a year later, the couple looks back on the moment and talks about their connection to the annual music festival.
