Laura Erickson has been bringing avion news and information to the 103.3 airwaves for decades. Her interest and love for birds has brought her around the world and has yielded flocks of avid listeners to her program For the Birds. You can hear Laura Erickson's For the Birds every Tuesday through Friday at 7:30am on Northland Morning and through Laura's website.

When it comes to birds and music, Laura's favorite bird song is that of the Winter Wren. When it comes to human-made music, the first album she was compelled to purchase was of a Broadway musical - one that she liked better than the subsequent movie. Laura's first concert was a family over-night trip to Milwaukee. And Laura's guilty-pleasure music has popped up on her playlist from time to time, seemingly to embarrass her kids. "By the time they were in junior high and high school, if their friends heard... they were mortified."

Back Tracks receives support from Minnesota Power Employees Credit Union. You can hear Back Tracks every Friday at 8am on Northland Morning.
