Back Tracks: Three Music Questions with Charity Huot Benedict

Saturday, October 4th, from 11am-7pm is the first DuLilith Fest at Chester Park in Duluth. The event, instigated by musician Charity Huot Benedict, is a woman-forward concert featuring a variety of female performers from the area. Though a one-day event doesn't offer nearly enough time to highlight all the talent of the area, it's a start. More information can be found on the DuLilith Facebook event page.

For Charity, her first album was a "tough" one from an iconic boy band. Her first live concert ended up being the inspiration for taking up the guitar. And her guilty pleasure song is an energetic 90s tune that seems to fit well into any occasion. "Let's bring it on and have some."
