Back Tracks: Three Music Questions with Jeff Carmack

Jeff Carmack, Station Manager at The North 1033, has a history with public radio, music, radio theater... and feels a special kinship with Kermit the Frog. Arms flailing about, corralling performers backstage, hosting madcap events - Carmack can relate to the career of the most famous Muppet.

Jeff's first album goes back to the late seventies to a disco album as done by a handful of famous puppets. His first concert was for the young metalheads of Cedar Falls, Iowa. And his guilty pleasure song was the flagship tune for a flop film, but it takes a swing at inspiring a brighter future. "We'll never get there, but we strive to be there."
