The Arrowhead Regional Biennial at the Tweed Museum of Art is being put on right now by the Duluth Art Institute. "This is a celebration of contemporary art from the upper Midwest," says Annie Dugan. Every two years, a new juror is picked for the show. The juror for the 64th biennial is Aya Kawaguchi who is a nationally known artist who has exhibited around the globe. "She's very adept at using color, negative spaces... to give us this whole world beyond."
The biennial, which includes work from many area artists, is on display at the Tweed Museum of Art through February 3rd. For hours and more information, visit the Tweed website.
You can hear Where's Art every Monday morning at 8:20 on Northland Morning.
