Where's Art: Fungus Among Us!

There is "Fungus Among Us" at Duluth Pottery in the Lincoln Park Craft District.

Ceramic artist Jennifer Murphy and painter Naomi Christenson came together and focused on the subject of fungus from their own unique perspective. Christenson's hyper-realistic paintings and Murphy's textured and comical fungal characters fill a gallery that, as Annie Dugan puts it, "has such a perfect space for showcasing the interplay between two-dimensional and three-dimensional work."

Also of note, the new Essentia Health building in Duluth will host an opening on July 21st from 11am-7pm. Christenson and other locals will have their work displayed at the new space.

You can hear Where's Art every Monday morning at 8:20 on Northland Morning.
