Here's a roundabout you will LOVE.
Carlton County's Round About Art Tours hit the gas on Thursday, with seven venues, a chance to meet the artists, refreshments and more, all for the bargain price of ... nothing. It's free.
And Duluth artist Nik Nerburn is working on a fascinating project as part of his Hinge Arts at the Kirkbride residency in Fergus Falls. It's is a community development and artist residency program that activates cultural programming at or related to the historic Fergus Falls State Hospital, or the “Kirkbride Building.” You can read more about it here.
And despite the fact that "for the most part, hay bales aren’t artistic expressions. They’re cow food," Nerburn ponders that assumption (and challenges us to think outside the box-- er, bale) ina recent article for the Walker Art Center's Walker Reader.
