From Mankato, Minnesota, Carrie Mesrobian has worked in both public and private schools. Her work has appeared in the StarTribune, Brian, Child magazine, Calyx, and a variety of other web and print publications. She now teaches at the Loft Literary Center in Minneapolis. Her book Sex & Violence won several awards, including the 2014 Minnesota Book Award in the Young People's Literature category.
