10/12 Women's Words: Moriah Erickson

Moriah Erickson resides in Duluth with her husband, seven children, and one silent Plott Hound. She works part time as a respiratory therapist, and has just earned her MFA in poetry from Fairfield University in Connecticut. She has had multiple poems and stories published in journals, including Permafrost, Common Ground Review, and Rosebud. She won the 2010 Frances Kahn Memorial Prize for poetry and placed second in the 2010 William Stafford Poetry Contest. She enjoys laundry and cooking for mass consumption. A collection of her works, Three Crows Laughing, is published by Slipstream. Four of her poems are available in an anthology edited by Sheila Packa, Migrations: Poetry & Prose for Life's Transitions, published in 2011 by Wildwood River Press in Duluth.
