Happening this week and weekend outside of Winnipeg Manitoba at Birds Hill Park. What an honor for Borgeson as hundreds of artists from around Canada and the USA apply to participate. Her works are interactive and will be enjoyed by the festival goers through Sunday. Seven earth stones and Spectral Vision are her two works that will be at the festival. The 5 day Winnipeg Folk Festival is happens Wednesday July 9-13 2014.

Former Program Director, Maija Jenson teaches journalism in the Department of Communication at UMD and was a part of KUMD 2008-2019. She hosted a weekly arts program "Radio Gallery." She shares a lifetime of public radio listening, degrees in journalism and art and 20 years of public radio experience with KFAI, WHA, WSUM and KUMD.
