Rovig is an artist that has participated in the Ely Winter Festival International Snow Sculpting Symposium. She speaks with Radio Gallery this week about the way that she became involved in working as a snow sculpture, and the different projects she has worked on throughout the years. Rovig illustrates the process of snow sculpting, and explains the variety of tools they use for smoothing, sculpting, and creating. This year Ely Winter Festival took place February 3-13, but this years Birkie begins on February 26th and will be have two snow sculptures on display.
