Radio Gallery 8-11-10: Tom Attridge
Attridge is this weeks artist on Radio Gallery. He recently exhibited a steel sculpture at Bockley Gallery located in Minneapolis, MN. It exhibited July 17 to August 7 as an annual potluck Summer group exhibit. Attridge studied at MCAD in the late 60's and has built foundries, taught college, tutored native American artists and mentored many starving artists in his long artist effort. His catalog of sculptures & prints is prolific and like many career sculptors continues to put pencil to paper and has many waxes sitting ready to cast. Tom was born in 1939 in St. Paul Minnesota and lives there today. You can see his "Moonbell" on display at the Federal Reserve Bank in Downtown Minneapolis.
