The Homegrown Music Festival begins Sunday, May 2nd, and is a week where the entire community can see the rich culture of music and art surrounding the Twin Ports. Kenny Kalligher is a long time Duluth musician who will be talking to us about his involvement in Homegrown.

Kalligher has been playing music in Duluth for over thirty years, and as been a part of the Homegrown Music Festival for several years, as well. He has played with several different groups, including the Fat City Brats, Glen Thomas Band, and the Head Babies, but he will be playing a solo acoustic set at Sir Ben's for this year's festival. Kalligher is meeting with Radio Gallery to discuss his making of the film: "2009 Duluth Homegrown Music Festival: The Movie." The film will be shown at the Harbor City International School Theater on May Third at Eight p.m.
