Country Singer/songwriter, Nikki Lane grew up First Baptist in Greenville, South Carolina, but always felt like an outsider in her hometown. A self-described “Freak”; she never had much money and was a child of divorced parents. At age 17, she dropped out of high school and within two years had moved to Los Angeles to work in fashion, eventually relocating to Nashville, where she began writing songs and running her own clothing boutique called High Class Hillbilly.
After a five-year hiatus, Nikki Lane has returned to making music with the release of her latest album Denim and Diamonds, which is out now on New West Records.
