Homegrown Live from Studio A: Tres Osos

Three smiling, bearded men stand in a hallway in front of a frosted glass window with blue lettering that says the North 103.3 FM. The man in the middle is hugging a mandolin, the man on the right is holding a guitar.
Tom Jamar

This new bluegrass trio features Tim Leutgeb and Ian Kvale of Black River Revue and Nicholas Klee, who formerly played with Borderstone and Two Many Banjos. We chatted with them about what brought them together for this project, the many fishing-related gigs they play, and their plans for performing at their first Duluth Homegrown Music Festival when they joined us in the studio on May 2, 2023.
