8/20 Forever Home

Cooper

Great news from Contented Critters this morning - Joey has found her forever home!  But little Cooper is still looking for his, so we included his picture, too!

Cooper is a male Poodle mix guessed to be about 10 yrs old. Cooper came in as a stray and was never claimed. He is housebroke, likes dogs and cats and friendly to all he has met. He really is an affectionate little guy who deserves a family of his own. He has been neutered, vet checked and given his canine and rabies vaccinations.

Wicket is a strikingly handsome black domestic long hair who is 13 years old. He came to us from a previous home and is now looking for his new loving home! Wicket is a quiet guy who likes to be gently petted and to observe the room from the comfort of his tall cat tree. He is front paw declawed, has been neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated.

Sawyer: This black kitty came to Animal Allies as a transfer from another shelter and is currently looking for her new home! Sawyer is a very sweet girl that loves attention and to curl up in your lap for some good lovin'. Sawyer has been spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated.

Puck  is a great 1 1/2 year old Siberian Husky/Shepard mix. This handsome man is housebroken and will go to the door to let you know when he's gotta go. Puck is friendly, loyal, and always makes sure your bed will stay be warm when you head to sleep! He even knows sit, lay, and heel, but isn't a fan of cats.  Since Puck also takes a bit more time to get used to other dogs, he would love to meet your dog before you take him home to make sure they'll be best buds! Puck is neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated

Lisa Johnson started her broadcast career anchoring the television news at her high school and spinning country music at KWWK/KOLM Radio in Rochester, Minnesota. She was a reporter and news anchor at KTHI in Fargo, ND (not to mention the host of a children's program called "Lisa's Lane") and a radio reporter and anchor in Moorhead, Bismarck, Wahpeton and Fergus Falls.Since 1991, she has hosted Northland Morning on KUMD. One of the best parts of her job includes "paying it forward" by mentoring upcoming journalists and broadcasters on the student news team that helps produce Northland Morning. She also loves introducing the different people she meets in her job to one another, helping to forge new "community connections" and partnerships.Lisa has amassed a book collection weighing over two tons, and she enjoys reading, photography, volunteering with Animal Allies Humane Society and fantasizing about farmland. She goes to bed at 8pm, long before her daughter, two cats, or three dogs.
