7/16 Forever Home

Sapphira is a tan and white Pitbull mix who is 3 years old. She came to us as a transfer from a different shelter and is now looking for her new loving family! Sapphira is a big girl with a lot of energy, so she needs a home that will spend time with her and give her the attention she deserves. She would do best as a single dog in her new home. She has been spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated.

Itty Bitty Kitty is a black and white short-haired cat who is 3 years old. She came to us as a transfer from a different shelter and is looking for a family of her own. IBK just finished raising a beautiful litter of kittens and is looking for a home of her own! She was a loving mother to her kittens, but would do best in a home without small children because she isn't a fan of being picked up. She has been spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated.

Zeke is an orange and white tabby who is 3 years old. He came to us as a stray from St. Louis County and is now looking for his new loving home! Zeke has an outgoing personality with lots of spunk. He loves to play but would do best in a household with no children because he likes to play rough. He has been neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated.

Lightning is a male chocolate/red colored Lab guessed to be about 3 yrs old. Lightning came in as a stray. I think he has Chesapeake Bay Retriever in him. He is very obedient and knows his commands. He has a lot of energy stored up as he has been with us for a year now.  He is a smart and handsome boy. He has been vet checked, neutered and given his canine and rabies vaccinations.

Lisa Johnson started her broadcast career anchoring the television news at her high school and spinning country music at KWWK/KOLM Radio in Rochester, Minnesota. She was a reporter and news anchor at KTHI in Fargo, ND (not to mention the host of a children's program called "Lisa's Lane") and a radio reporter and anchor in Moorhead, Bismarck, Wahpeton and Fergus Falls.Since 1991, she has hosted Northland Morning on KUMD. One of the best parts of her job includes "paying it forward" by mentoring upcoming journalists and broadcasters on the student news team that helps produce Northland Morning. She also loves introducing the different people she meets in her job to one another, helping to forge new "community connections" and partnerships.Lisa has amassed a book collection weighing over two tons, and she enjoys reading, photography, volunteering with Animal Allies Humane Society and fantasizing about farmland. She goes to bed at 8pm, long before her daughter, two cats, or three dogs.
