Ted "Wolfman" Anderson

Co-host of "North Country Jukebox"

Ted "Wolfman" Anderson is a guitarist and vocalist with the Duluth-based honky-tonk band Father Hennepin. Known for his gritty style and heartfelt delivery, Ted has been a core part of the group’s sound since its early days. Alongside frontman Starfire and fellow bandmates, he’s helped shape the band’s signature blend of soft rock and twangy country, earning them a perennial spot at the Homegrown Music Festival where they’ve performed more than 25 times.

Ted’s contributions shine on tracks like “Doc Bonner” from the Iron Country compilation, and his musical roots run deep in the northern Minnesota scene. Whether on stage at Glensheen’s Concerts on the Pier or in the studio, Ted brings a soulful edge that keeps Father Hennepin’s sound both timeless and distinctly local.
