
Scott "Starfire" Lunt
Co-host of "North Country Jukebox"Scott "Starfire" Lunt is a musician, radio host, and community organizer based in Duluth, Minnesota. He is best known as the founder of the Homegrown Music Festival, which began in 1998 as a small birthday party and has since grown into an eight-day celebration featuring over 170 bands across multiple venues.
Lunt is also a co-founder of the band Father Hennepin, an alt-country group that has been a staple of the Duluth music scene. Beyond music, he has contributed to local media as a radio host on The North 103.3 and helped establish Perfect Duluth Day, a website dedicated to highlighting arts and culture in the region.
In addition to his work in music and media, Lunt has explored visual arts, particularly quilting, showcasing his creative versatility. His impact on Duluth’s cultural landscape continues to be felt through his dedication to fostering local talent and community engagement.
