
Miriam Hanson
Host of "Highway 61 Revisited"Miriam Hanson is a yoga instructor, retreat leader, and radio DJ based in Duluth, Minnesota. She is the Yoga School Director at Svälja Yoga, where she leads teacher training programs and specializes in trauma-conscious yoga.
A Duluth native, Miriam spent 12 years in Roatan, Honduras, where she built a bilingual elementary school before returning to Minnesota. She has trained extensively in Yin Yoga, Ayurveda, and trauma-sensitive yoga, studying with renowned instructors like Bernie Clark and Indu Arora.
Beyond yoga, Miriam is a co-founder of ROAM Yoga Retreats, guiding immersive wellness experiences in Honduras and other locations. She is also a DJ on The North 103.3 FM, hosting segments on the long-running Highway 61 Revisited Bob Dylan radio show.
