Brian "Cool Hand Luke" Lukasavitz

Brian Lukasavitz, J.D. is an Assistant Professor of Business Law at the Labovitz School of Business and Economics at the University of Minnesota Duluth. He specializes in legal research and writing, entertainment and media law, and business law. Lukasavitz holds a B.F.A. in Theater from the University of Minnesota–Duluth and earned his J.D. from the University of St. Thomas School of Law.

Beyond academia, he is actively involved in radio broadcasting and local performances, contributing to Duluth’s vibrant arts and media scene. Students praise him for his engaging lectures, humor, and supportive teaching style, making him a highly rated professor.
