For those who might not know, Mark Mallman is much more than a brainwave-hacking rocker who has composed music for Rick and Morty, played marathon songs lasting over two days, and earned a star on the outer wall of the First Avenue Club in Minneapolis. He’s also a viral music historian and author of the book The Happiness Playlist, which received national acclaim for its honest and insightful look at the healing power of music.
With the release of his new album Magic Time, a concept album mixing themes of horror, mythology, and urban legends, Mark Mallman is playing at Earth Rider on Saturday, September 20 with local punkers Dirt Magnet opening up.
