Homegrown Virtual Live from Studio A: Dance Attic

This charming local duo features Suzi Ludwig of Father Hennepin on accordian and Jimi Cooper of The Fractals (among many other Duluth bands) on guitar, ukelele, and kazoo. Their repertoire spans everything from polka to punk, with original songs about hoppy beer, stolen cupolas, and whatever else strikes their fancy with some well-chosen covers also in the mix. The two were set to release their second album right in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic; they've had to replace a live release show with some Facebook livestreams (including from Suzi's sauna) until they're free to perform in public again. They joined us for a virtual session on April 27, 2020, to play a couple of tunes on what would have been the second day of Duluth's Homegrown Music Festival-they were scheduled to perform that night.
