This Colorado-based musician has a style that blends blues, bluegrass, jazz, jam, and more and has been called "acoustic Native Americana." A member of the Crow tribe, Morin has performed around the world both as a member of groups The Atoll and The Pura Fe Trio and as a solo artist. Currently touring behind his sixth album, When I Rise, Morin is acclaimed for his fingerpicking skills, but is an equally talented songwriter and singer. He performed at the Duluth Folk School on August 24. He joined us that afternoon to record a session that aired on Folk Migrations.
Live from Studio A on KUMD is made possible by Ampers and the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
