This local singer/songwriter and spiritual seeker is releasing her second album in a year, titled Birdiecrat. Join the Revolution and reflecting her support for Bernie Sanders' progressive movement. The new disc was recorded at Rich Mattson's Sparta Sound Studio and features Mattson, Marc Gartman, and Bryce Kastning as her backing band. Kristy joins us on the Local on Wednesday, September 21 at 5pm for a session; she has a CD release show at the Red Herring Lounge the same night.
