Despite the shameless futuristic concept, the album isn't aimed specifically at hardcore sci-fi buffs or your neighborhood cyborg theorist. The amount of talent and style exhibited on Android should appeal to fans of synth-pop, soul, electronica, et al. Guest contributors Saul Williams, Big Boi, and of Montreal add to the eclectic style of Android while the capacious Wondaland ArchOrchestra complements Mon?e's tremendous vocal prowess. Janelle Mon?e is currently touring North America in support of The ArchAndroid along with of Montreal and will be playing a show at First Avenue on the 23rd.
