The hottest and coldest temperatures of September so far were recorded Sunday and Wednesday of this year, our rainfall totals are above normal (words you haven't heard or seen very often in 2021), 15,000 raptors were counted Tuesday at Hawk Ridge, and skunks, snakes, deer, chipmunks, sparrows, blackbirds - even whirligig beetles are all on the move.
