Many times in 2019, the first half and second halves of the month bore little resemblance to each other.
Perhaps November is headed in that direction also.
This weekend's expected warm temperatures are just a break from what's been, up until now, temps about 10 degrees colder than normal.
And the chance to shed a layer or two of outerwear is as good an excuse as any to get out and enjoy Hawk Ridge or a walk alongside your favorite pond, lake or river.
