Don't miss out on one of the most thrilling events this summer - the return of Big Wave Dave and the Ripples to the Summer Parking Lot Concert Series at First United Methodist Church, located at 230 E Skyline Parkway in Duluth. This block party summer celebration featuring Duluth's finest R&B/soul/funk band will take place on Monday, July 15 at 6:30 pm and is free for everyone in the community. Get ready to dance and bring your family, lawn chairs (although some will be provided), and your dancing shoes. Starting at 5:30pm, there will be fun activities for children to enjoy and the "Room at the Table" food truck will offer a select dinner menu.

According to the band's website, Big Wave Dave and the Ripples is a group of talented musicians who play music that gets you moving. Established in February 2011, the band has evolved, but their goal and message remain the same—to play the music they love and get people on the dance floor. They perform throughout the Twin Ports area and into the Twin Cities with their soul/funk/rock/blues music, including original songs and homages to the past and present greats.
