A BAND CALLED TRUMAN
If Homegrown had a hall of fame, singer, guitarist and high-energy frontman Leon Rohrbaugh would be in it. Having performed on Homegrown stages from the very beginning, Rohrbaugh put together the horn-fueled boogie rockers A Band Called Truman some 14 years ago. The seven-piece band has been flooding dance floors ever since. Backing Rohrbaugh are Jim Pospisil on keys, Ian Connell on drums, John Erickson on bass and a powerhouse horn section featuring Dale Shimmin, Jessica Lilja Olson and Kelli Hallsten Erickson. The group has appeared on seven local compilation albums and started recording new material in December.
