According to the most recent information, COVID cases in Minnesota are up 29% over the previous two week period, and hospitalizations for COVID are up 87%.
But even though these are unprecedented times for most of us, Indigenous people have survived epidemics - and pandemics - for hundreds of years.
And their approach to handling this one is, not surprisingly, to see out the truth-sayers in their communities.
