Award winning writer Linda Hogan is a Chickasaw poet, novelist, and essayist. She has written extensively on the natural world, and indigenous perspectives on nature and knowing. Linda will present a reading from her recent works, The Radiant Lives of Animals and A History of Kindness tomorrow (Tuesday, April 20) from 3-4:30 p.m. She will also talk with Linda Grover, UMD Professor of American Indian Studies, in conversation about writing and indigenous thought.
Linda Hogan joined me for a Zoom interview, and In between long digressions to talk about horses and dogs, she shared her thoughts about the animals with whom we share our world.
