This Thursday there is a concert and closing event for the summer exhibit at the Duluth Art Institute In & Out of Context, the photographs of Tim White. White’s exhibit pairs his black and white images with poems, stories and songs and contributor and local musician Gaelynn Lea is performing.
This is final of 4 events connected to this community oriented exhibit which drew together many local talents for the original and inspiring book to the exhibit at the DAI.
The event is Thursday, August 25, is from 6-8:30 pm. It’s free and open to the public and will take place at the DAI’s Lincoln building at 2229 W 2nd St in Duluth.
The work of Tim White is on display in the John Steffl Gallery in the Historic Depot through Sept 2.
