As part of Earth Day celebration, an exhibition opened this past weekend in the Zeitgeist atrium. “Seeds of Repair” is a group exhibition that is only open until April 30th. Artists have work on view that focused on earth, water, and cultivation. “How do you hold truth and hope side by side for the future?" asks Annie Dugan. “We don’t realize the kind of activity that’s happening under the soil.”

The Duluth Fiber Guild is hosting their annual rummage sale. “They’re doing spring cleaning in their studio,” says Dugan. Along with being able to purchase used items, the Guild will perform demonstrations for those in attendance. The sale is on Saturday at the Harrison Community Center from 10am-1pm.

This Saturday is independent Bookstore Day. As part of the celebration, Sheila Packa will be at Zenith Bookstore from 3-5pm. Packa is a local poet and author of the recently published Surface Displacements.
