Boreal IV, an exhibition featuring new paintings by Tara Austin, paintings on plexiglass that combine techniques of rosemaling and geometric patterns. The exhibit opens at the Joseph Nease Gallery on Saturday, June 4.

Also on Saturday, June 4, the Duluth Studio Market is presenting their 2nd annual Spring into Summer Outdoor Artisan Market, featuring works by many artists including Heidi Derner.

Tomorrow, WDSE-TV is premiering the next episode of its series Minnesota Historia. The episode talks about the Chief Buffalo Memorial Project, a public art mural created by Moria Villiard in collaboration with other artists, located in Gitchi-Ode’ Aking. The series is viewable on YouTube and at the WDSE website.
