The common loon is seemingly ever-present on lakes in Minnesota and Wisconsin in the summertime. But where do they go in the winter? Dr. Walter Piper from the National Loon Center joins us this morning to talk about his research that is revealing more about the migration of the Northland’s favorite feathered friend.
