The galleries are full at the Duluth Art Institute. There are currently three diverse art exhibits on display at the DAI space at the Depot.

The work of internationally-recognized St. Paul artist Ta-coumba Aiken can be seen in the George Morrison Gallery through April 8th. Aiken's paintings (often displayed on large canvas) involve rhythmic patterns that express a narrative.

In the Corridor Gallery, patrons can view photographs by Annelisa Roseen. Today I am highlights the transformation of Roseen during each of 365 consecutive days. During the pandemic, Rosen began using make-up to take on different identities of famous and infamous people.

And Allison Baker's Tender Vignettes can be viewed in the Steffl Gallery. With an eye on composition and color, Baker's work shines a light on how poverty impacts choices and actions.

You can hear Where's Art every Monday morning at 8:20 on Northland Morning.
