Annie Dugan reports that Colin Nelson-Dusek has joined the Tweed Museum team as an art educator, a position funded by a grant from MSAB Creative Support.

Some new art books Annie has been perusing:

  • Tashia Hart’s The Good Berry Cookbook published in 2021 by ‎Minnesota Historical Society Press.
  • Rachel McGarry’s Envisioning Evil: “The Nazi Drawings” by Mauricio Lasansky, published in 2021 by the University of Minnesota Press and coinciding with the McGarry-curated exhibition of Mauricio Lasansky’s The Nazi Drawings, thirty-three monumental drawings examining the horrors of the Holocaust, at the Minneapolis Institute of Art.
  • Highpoint Editions: A History & Catalogue, 2001–2021, a catalog (available both virtually and in print) that documents twenty years of workshop production at Highpoint Editions, the publishing arm of Highpoint Center for Printmaking in Minneapolis.
