The glorious reds and golds and oranges of autumn may include more dead-leaf brown this year ...

Already, those who keep an eye on such things are discovering we're a couple of weeks ahead of where we usually are at this time, fall color-wise, and the summer's heat and drought is affecting leaf color - where it hasn't just killed the tree outright.
