We talk with Katie Van Wert, an Assistant Professor of English at UMD, about the UMD-Duluth Storytelling Project.  The project is a collaborative creative writing initiative that matches UMD writing students with adults who have disabilities resulting from cerebral palsy or traumatic brain injuries. Working together, they create either fiction or nonfiction works that are then compiled into an anthology.
