Duluthian Rob Adams is opening a show of new work at the Red Herring Lounge this week, Friday, Feb 12th, 5-8pm. True conversation pieces, this exhibit includes multi-media, painting, photo collages. Inspired by working with historian, Dr. Richard Hudelson's, Adams has created a series of site-specific work relating to historical labor struggles in the Twin Ports.
"I combine disparate images and objects as a form of brainstorming, and as a metaphor for the layering of the self. In my work I invite the viewer to join me in thinking in new ways, to add new interpretations to the connections that I make," Adams.
